Does anyone know of a free good tool to measure pixels and different units on a screen. I really want it to measure picture demensions and stuff. I have no idea if such a thing exist and when I googled it I got stuff about rulers.... I'm not very good at googleing things. (If I am stupid and there is one in photoshop let me know if not please help)

There's Screen calipers http://www.iconico.com/caliper/ limited trial, and evaluate the software for as long as you need to.

The info pane in photoshop does this...

Window>Info

When you first install photoshop, it should default to the top right corner of the window. The bottom right quadrent of the info pane is the one you're looking for. Just use the marquee tool (top left of the tool menu, or just press "m").

Naturally, there is also "select all" or ctrl+a
