I think there is a lack of content divisors, I mean, usually when you make an only-text website (and there is nothing wrong with that) the website is more compact, there is diferent background colors at the content-boxes (usually a small change, like white x light-yellow/blue) and the headlines are bigger then the text, becouse something has to call attention of the viewer's eye.
this was added recently on webcreme, maybe it helps

Yea I agree with Matheus. I like the design though.
Also a good idea would be to make it valid XHTML/CSS, although that doesnt really matter.

matheus has a point. Everything kinda runs together.
With the current scheme you've got, I think alternating row BGs of either light orange or light blue would look good.
Something else that might look good is a faux shadow. What I mean by that is like a 2px border (black) on either the bottom and right, or bottom and left.
