Hello everyone :)

I'm trying to create a template psd file for a friend so he can create new images for his parents website, i've ran into something that has stumped me which is why I've came here to try to get some help.

Here are some examples of final products that I am using to go from. The effect I'm asking about how to recreaste is the bottom most imprinted/embossed? text on the mat. Note that the examples here are gold based not silver which is what i need, but the effect is the same for both. A thin silver (gold in the examples) metalliac foil in the shape of the text is stamped into a mat to create the effect.

The goal is to figure out how to create a text w/ layer effects to mimic the effect.... because there are about 1,000 schools to process and the objective is to create a template with minimal changes that need to be made to update each school. Aka, someone just double clicks and modify the text ont he layer and everything else is automated.

Attached File  certificate.gif   7.46K   67 downloads

That's as close as I could get. Click the image to download the .PSD. Then you can just copy the layer style.

You would probably be helped faster if you could find an example of that text close up
