I'm trying to embed a .SWF into another Flash file.

Basically the file I'm trying to embed is a Virtual Tour, does anyone know firstly if this is possible, and secondly how to do it!!?? I've tried simply importing the file to the library then dropping it in, however all that happens is a red square flashes on the screen...

All suggestions welcome!

Check for a tutorial related to the MovieClipLoader class. You can load a swf in using that, even give it a progress bar.

A simple way of doing this is create a symbol, and then make the tour in there, so then you do not have to have an external flash file or if the movie is made already import it into the flash file.

It always best practice to break apart content into smaller sections. That way if you need to update one section, you don't need to worry about recompiling the entire project. Also saves compile time as you work, since you'll only ever compile a fraction of the project at any given time.
