its a one pixel line with pencil + hold shift move in the right direction, do one in a darker version of the base colour or dark grey and a lighter version of your base or a white/light grey...
possibly alter its visability aswell

He means the opacity. Make sure you give the indention it's own layer, then lower the opacity in the Layers Palette.
It's basically a black 1px line made with the pencil with a 1px white line underneath.
