The amazing levels of incompetence at Fedex continues to amaze me, and I don't mean the drivers or anything... I know quite a few Fedex drivers and they're all really cool. I mean those morons that work in the their IT/Web related departments. I have been trying to get someone to call me on how to use their shipping API for like 3 months and so fr no one has called me that actually knows what they are doing. LOSERS. So a couple of weeks ago I sent an email to the person that is "supposed" to be my rep (That I have never spoken too) and I CCd a few people that have emailed me worthless inaccurate info. I basically told them that while they are more expensive than the other major carriers, they are the only ones that have an API that is NOT an easy-to-use XML output style API but they are also the only ones I have yet to get running on my online store because no one at Fedex knows how to use it.

Now it gets even better... the people that I CCd are now arguing about how this should work and who should call me, not realizing they are CCing me on all their emails Hahaha... fucking idiots.

Now for another gem... I am using their online shipping tool to send out shipments to a client that wants me to ship on his Fedex account. Well, every time I go to make a new shipment, I get an error that can only be resolved by clearing cookies. So EVERY TIME I want to do a shipment, I have to clear cookies first. I call Fedex, finally pissed that I keep having to do this and lose my cookies, and ask why in the hell I have to keep doing this and what the issue is.

"Well, it's not our fault sir, it's the browser."

Me: "Wait... you're telling me your application errors out on every new order and this is because there's a bug with the BROWSER."

"Obviously sir, what else could it be?"

Me: "Maybe your site is not removing the appropriate cookies once an order is completed."

"I don't really know sir."

*** Bear in mind I am talking to Online Shipping Management IT SUPPORT!!! ***

Me: "So is this an issue with me or do you get a lot of people with this cookie problem"

"Actually it's our biggest issue, we take hundreds of calls on this daily."

Me: *uncontrollable laughter for 2 minutes*

Me: "Ok never mind, have a good day"

So their entire shipment system online for FEDEX is fucked up and they all think it's IE (Oh she asked if I am using a "memory link or do you click directly on the E on your desktop". I told her I am using Firefox and she said "We don't support that, I have no idea what that is"). I honestly can't believe just how stupid these people are... wow.

Umm ok this might be a stupid question but what's a memory link? Just a link to a certain page?

Wow... I'm left speechless. Time for a news report? We have a program called A Current Afair... show it to them and you've show the whole of Australia. That would put Fedex on the spot
