I have been recently scouring the net for ideas for my new video projects, and it suddenly occurred to me that I should try to create effects that look like the good old analog effects created by a machine called "Scanimate." Here's a site with info about Scanimate

I'm thinking something like this—Click here for what I'm trying to build. Is it possible to do stuff like this in After Effects? (at least version 7)
