Is it stupid to display contest winning work in a portfolio? Also if you do do you have to display your winning contest entry or just a entry you like most? Do any of you display just random work in your portfolio that hasn't been sold? I am asking these things because so far the only money I have gotten for work is in competitions (4 of them) mainly so thats what I wanted to show. Also I just wasn't sure of how to best impress possible clients. Like I am putting up a site with a portfolio and an image gallery, but how do I really grab a client besides just good work (I already have that down ) anyway I have heard you arn't supposed to do like sales because that degrades graphic design and says your work is worth less. Any ideas?
