Hi.

I am a photoshop user but am being forced to use Paint shop pro 7 for a university module.

What I have to do is use the user defined filter on an image I have, first of all, to select and display horizontal edges and then select and display vertical edges.

Thats the first thing, dont know how to use the user defined filters, thanks to the most unhelpful lecturer in the world who didnt give study notes, just told you to use the built in help if you got stuck

Now the technical problem. Whenever I try and create a new user defined filter, I click on new. Enter the numbers, add a name and click ok. I then a dialog box, with this error - "Unable to open file!"

I am hoping someone here can tell me what this means and how to fix it. I really need help asap, this report is due in soon and I need to get it done.

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks.
