I just heard about this website called Blackle today. It's a google search engine but instead the page is completely black. It's purpose is to save energy - because white takes up more energy to display on a monitor than black. IMO I don't really think it's going to make much of a difference, considering Google isn't the ONLY site on the net. But here it is:

I doubt it to be honest but I'll probably use it now that it's come a long.. a lot more comforting on the eyes

Hmm, they could've saved some more energy on the text brightness imho... But seriously, what a waste of internet space...

Umm that site is used for advertisement
Not that it matters, but the design could be better
Better, as in much better
And i think there is a reason google has its page set to white
Not because its popular, but because it makes good use of white spaces
My personal opinion is that you could save energy in other areas
Energy is wasted in major corporations, and even in your own homes, go figure.
