Nobody likes reading long articles. well, apart from Dan.

I guess it would depend on what is about really. Because if I don't really care about it I either won't read it or will scan through it. I do the scanning part in tutorials to get them done quick so I have have a result 
And short articles are quick so you can just move on with what ever your doing lol.

the more informative the better for me, does not mean a long essay just well structured and logical

My opinion is it should be short but must be having a point.
