i can make the same in photoshop exept for the last part, where you apply the transparent overlay. i can figure out where to do that. tried all kinds of stuff.

but i must say this is one hack of the effect. cought my eye imediatly when i first came to this page.

nice job.

Use a layer transparency mask in photoshop :)

Masks are quite easy. I discovered them by accident not long ago...

Nice ;) When I get some time, I'm doing the opposite... converting photoshop tutorials to work in Corel Photopaint ;)
