I don't know WHAT made me open this can of worms, but I decided to try my hand at writing a couple of tutorials that I thought would interest some of our visitors. If you get a chance, have a look and I'd appreciate any feedback. I do plan on writing more, so any suggestions and tips will assist me in future editions
In the meantime, here are the two I've just finished off:

These are all done in Photopaint (Stop grumbling... I know these tutorials are already available in Photoshop versions!)
