Does PhotoShop CS3 not use ImageReady like CS2? I only used CS2 for like a day then went and got CS3.. I want to know the best way to go about animating a banner with PhotoShop CS3.. I heard people use ImageReady to do it with PhotoShop.. but maybe CS3 is different?
Thanks.
How do I animate an image in PhotoShop CS3?

Time consuming but rather an easy process.
Create your animation frames in separate layers and then export to Image Ready and do it there.
There are good manuals that come with CS3 if you press F1 and enter animation. The docs will show you step by step how to do it in Image Ready.

lol because they got rid of it. The only way you can animate in photoshop is to go to window, animation and there you get a very basic animation as creative explained. Your best bet is if you got flash cs3 it allows you to import .psd files straight from photoshop and animate them a much better solution for animating. (thats probly why they got rid of imageready also.)
