Why do you need software instead of just using the built in stuff?

Built in? Where?? :)

Just in case. I meant video capture software. Not pictures. Sorry.

yea, video capture isn't included by default. My recommendation for windows is Techsmith Camtasia Studio. It's great.. It's got the recording and editing software all in one.

Thanks for the responses guys

I know Camtasia is great. But its too expensive for me at this point for me. I might give the trail a try and se ehow that goes.

Does anyone else have and advice or suggestions?

Thank you

My mistake pbfanatic. I'm going to go sulk in a corner now. I've never used any video capture so I can't help you there :)

I don't think there is any free screen capture (video) that I know of. When I started videos all those years ago a looked at heaps and 90% of them were junk in my view. I started using Camtasia at version 1.2 and there is no better.
I now on the mac use iShowU which is not as good as Camtasia but comes a close second.

I downloaded the Camtasia Trial. Is there a way to get a better quality video when its uploaded to something like YouTube?
