If your going to make a pcture pop out of the sig, do it so that it improves the flow. Also if you do it don't make the line all pixely. Add more effects and choose a better render. And make the colors match.

Keep it up! :D

Thanks for the comments Mehhht. I guess I'm not getting this whole "flow" thing then. haha. I figured because of the render that how I have the dotted lines would be the flow angles. Because its a front view like Fett is. Not really sure I wanted more effects. I chose to go simple. As for the colors. What in it doesn't match? I grabbed the red for the font from his helmet. The background was from his chest plate(thought the black might be making that hard to notice). The onyl thing I didn't grab form him is the dotted stripes. they're just black. Should I grab some of the blue off him? The renders edges need to be fixed. I accidentally had a different version underneath that poked through.

Keep the comments coming guys. Oh and Mehht. I'll try your tut soon man. :D

Thanks again.

Yeah well the edges of the render is what I was saying mostly needs to be fixed, the dots are what I mean for the colors that don't match. They feel out of place. Try setting the layer to overlay or color dodge.

The problem with trying to go simple is it has to be done perfectly. If you try to be simple in something and mess up on one bit, its totally obvious. It's easier to go with more effects.

And for text (im no expert but) try to make it simple. Use the default fonts and maybe go to layer style, and add a B&W gradient and set it to soft light and adjust it to match the sig.

I fixed a few things. I really think the blue vs black dotted lines really helps! Also fixed the border.

k if your not getting the flow part of a sig which is a key component, ill try to explain, for the sig you just made i think that was a bad choice of render, for your sig right now the flow would be in the direction of the paintballer, so if you were to use brush ud brush down toward the left corner from the top right, if you were to smudge itd be from the top right to bottom left.

LastCrime - I understand the flow in the sig I'm currently using. I meant more so for the Fett sig. Sorry.

Yeah the fett sig has a bit of flow, not what I would have picked but its okay. Yeah it's startin to look better, maybe just fix the text to make it stand out more.

Updated it a bit. I think I'm pretty much done. I might bring out the blue a little more but thats about it. And maybe tone down the yellow some.

Hmm i think you should do some fading techniques to those back ground lines. they kind of take away from the sig and if you messed around with losing some of them fading others it might tie the sig together a little better. Another thing that might help you with design is messing around with different texts and text effects. Text can often make or break the signature.

-Oops my bad man i see you messed with the lines down below alrdy but not soon enough haha
