I'm making a personal website for my school and I'm almost done. The trouble is I can't finish my Games section of the website. I've made links that open up to another page for each game, but when I try to insert the game on that page it doesn't work when I preview the website. When I add it with dreamweaver it shows the space that it will take up, but as i said it won't actually work.

from what it sounds like you may not be linking the swf files correctly. For example: the code in dreamweaver might have the source as yourfile.swf but the file is actually in thisdirectory/yourfile.swf. Check your links in the code view. Provide a screen shot or a link to your site if that doesn't work!

Hi,

I would recommend you load your flash file into your html via external javascript file, this fixes the problem of having to activate the flash in IE.

You can also use the method shown in the webpage : http://www.mix-fx.com/flash-prompt.htm
