Ok, so I want to make a forum (not a website). I was wondering if it was better to buy a lifetime IPB License and buy hosting seperatly or buy a hosting package from them. Also, it says they include a vanity domain, is that the same thing as a regular domain, ie: pixel2life.com? thank you for the help.

I would go with a seperate host (media temple hosts my site) and some one else to host you're domain such as godaddy or someone like that and then buy the IPB license.
