Im new to photoshop and wondered if anyone could help me improve and i have been doing a couple of fourm sigs and this is my favourite one so far. Feal free to say what you like aslong as its nice

The background and text is pretty good for someone with no experience. you should try finding some blending tutorials to make your render look smoother and blend with the bg.

Search for a smoke tutorial and redo your gun smoke.

as well as the smoke, you need to work on depth, flow, and colours (the green doesn't really fit) try adding some more effects to your background. To make the render better try duplicating it and smuding it or adding gausien blur or just play around with some blurs and smudging.
