i have some text in flash that as the movie progresses the text is a bit jumpy. how do i stop this?

just so you know your flash video is like 20 x 20 in firefox you can barely notice it.

It's still too small but I know your problem. You need to set the texts anti-alias to animation, not readability.

i didnt have it changed properly. i was changeing it a bunch of times and forgot to change the size in the html.

let me know if it is good now

the text still looks jumpy to me.

Yeah you're right, it is a bit jumpy. I'm not entirely sure why. If you've got it set Anti-Aliased for Animation then it should be smooth. I'll have a closer look tomorrow.

could just be the frame rate because it looks slow that might of effected it.

The best way knowing your text problem is, showing your .fla file, guess that the text is not the same position, when the shape moving...

No it's not the framerate, as the rest of the movie plays smooth.

As I said I'll look at it closer, but a .fla would probably be the most helpful for us.

Flash has issues with moving text slowly. Try making it an image and in the properties of the image turn the "Allow Smoothing" option on.
