Hi, It seems that everytime I click the control panel in vista a window pops up for a split second and dissappears. This has happened till recently and I don't know when it started since I don't go into the control panel that often but it just wont go the control panel.
Anyone know why by any chance?
Help appreciated.

Never had that problem but Windows Vista: Beta 2, RC1, and RC2 have expired so if your not on a retail version that could be the cause.

This was a big problem for users in windowsXP when a virus got out and pretty much uninstalled the control panel and if left then went on to delete it and then my computer. Either re-install windows or try finding out the exe with corresponds to control panel then installing it via DOS. All I can think of off hand.
