FAR OUT!! That is amazing!! I've actually been wondering how to create a text effect like that as well for a while...
Did you follow at tutorial from anywhere?

Didn't use a tutorial. 
Ever take photo's of fireworks during the 4th of july? If your camera has that setting. It drops the shutter speed. I think mine was 2 seconds. I dropped it even more to 4 seconds and then used an LED light. Worked great.
Forget to mention I dropped the ISO as low as I could go to get as little noise as possible. Sucks I still got noise even at 60 ISO. But its my camera's fault(Fuji S700). You can notice it at the outer edges a little. Where the colors are a little off.
Edit again. lol Looks like you cant see the noise so much in the photo I shared. But the original you defiantly can. Also, you can do this at any time of the day. Night is better if you're looking for a black background.

Thanks man! Only the text was from the photo. I added the rest in PS. Writing with light is pretty cool. I wish I had a camera I could control the shutter speed more. I'd like to be able to write larger things outside.
