Decided to try my hand at some modeling in C4D ( Cinema 4D ). I'm rather proud of how this came out, considering it was my first time doing any thing like this :g[1]:.

Any tips? Particularly for the floor? I tried using a floor object at first, but the material tiled on it, and I didn't like that, so, I switched to using a Plane instead. The material did what I wanted, but it's blurry ( And the texture I used was very high res. ), So, I'm thinking maybe I had the Plane too large?

Which reflection? On the pen itself, or on the wood?

Awsome job man... It's a simple wire fram but the render turned out insane.... only thing would be to maybe play with the reflection on the pen... turn it down a bit... because pens have more of a lambert style of material but still have a bit of reflection... thats what I thikin atleast
