If I want my users to be able to view a captivate tutorial in 2 ways can I feed off the same video on the server. Let me explain - I want the user to be able to click a button, and the video appears in a stand alone browser window that is movable, but I also want them to have the option to view the same video but in a flash type online application, i.e. with tabs at the side of the video so they can go to the next video, like on a cd. So I would create the swf file from captivate, and leave it on the server, fine for the movable video option, but if I create an online type app with flash, meaning i import the swf or .cp into flash, save the file and then upload to the server - this is no good becasue i have saved it twice.

You can load up swfs at runtime in a flash application. Look at the movieClipLoader class.
