When using Firefox, it seems like I always have to clear cookies and refresh the page in order to see changes. Is there a setting I'm missing that will allow Firefox to load the most recent page?
Can Firefox load the most recent changes?

that's odd, whenever I f5 in FF it refreshes the page fine, what is it you are updating each time?

I make an update to a page, for example add some news or something, and then upload to the server. When I visit the page using Firefox, it still shows me the previously loaded page. I have to refresh the page (I usually use Control + F5). Guess I should also add that this is within an intranet at a company, though that shouldn't make a difference.

well you will always have to refresh a page to see updates to it no matter what, it won't update on its own just because you reuploaded a file. Bust justting hitting f5 should do the trick

Correct, if you still have the page up during the update. But I don't have the page up on my screen during the update. I visit the page after the fact and I don't see the changes made. I have to refresh the page in order to see the changes take affect.
It's like it loads the temporary page first instead of loading the new page. I know in IE6 there was an option to check for newer versions of stored pages. I don't see that in Firefox, hence my question with Firefox!

Ohhh okay I got you know sorry I didn't understand the question
I think the only way you could do this in FF is to make it so it doesn't cache pages, play around with the privacy tab under tools -> options, that might help you out

I've been experiencing this problem as well... but then normally a Ctrl + F5 does the job.
It sucks when I don't know what's going on... I end up editing the .css file a million times before I figure out why it's not working.

Yeah Control + F5 is what I use alot. But in terms of a corporate setting where we have documentation that is being read, I'd prefer to have it be up-to-date that instant! Many people don't understand they need to refresh the page.
I'll trying playing around with the cache thanks!

Yeah I get it all the time.. I have found FFs cache pretty hopeless since I started using since the 0.x versions.
But then it is better than IE hehe.
