It's ok, I'd change the colour scheme though mate, the purple/pink doesn't suit the grey, maybe use black. The red isn't bad for the latest picture section. I'd also change the green for the main navigation. Doesn't really flow its abit shocking that green.
You need to change the font put it that way, use verdana or tahoma size 10 to 12 which ever you think looks best. But they'll look 100 times better than the current font.

I agree, that green is a little scary.
Also what font do you actually see for the main content because some people might not have the font I used [TW Century MT].

Try changing the pink to light blue .... and the button to grey

I would center the site.
