Am working on a design and have come across a problem I'm stuck on.
How do you realistically place a number on a ball / wheel?

I want the number placed similar to this:

But even further back so the tip is out of view, as if the ball of rolled back.

Basically I'm wanting to know how to 'bend' or modify a number so it looks part of the ball.

Thanks

Sorry, shouldn't assume everyone uses Photoshop.
I'm using Photoshop CS3 at the moment. (I say at the moment as it's a trial so I may go back to CS2).
