Hey all !

This is my first post here and have to say this site have been very useful in time to time when looking for new ideas

But now I have a slight problem. I'm in a hurry to change size and resolution of 1100 pics.

I have used the action automation and batch before, but now the problem is that the pictures are divided in about 20 folders and 20 sub-folders, and it is essential that the pictures would stay in the same named folders. I tried to batch all the folders and subfolders and got them in one big folder.

I tought that by using the windows auto re-arrange by date/time modified I could get em in shape. But it seems that the computer just puts them in a minute order, and since photoshop is quite fast it has done so many in one minute it cant put the order in the same way the photoshop did it and the pictures was in the first place.

So, is there a way to make photoshop save the images in a same named subfoldier it opened it and processed them ? like some sort of macro in the batch or action etc ?

I know I might sound lazy but it would really save some time if I could just leave it process it instead of doing the automation folder by folder. and I believe that I will need this sort of thing in the future.

Thanks alot in Advance if someone has some tips or tricks to share

I think you may have to do it folder by folder. I don't think it works across subfolders. Also try asking Adobe Support.

Hi Oddin,
In the Batch dialog, choose "Destination: Save and Close" option.
To avoid overwriting original images just copy the source folder with subfolders to some other directory.
