Hi, looking for ideas, do you think my wallpaper section has what it takes to integrate ads into it? I was thinking of a 728 pixel wide banner at the top, a 160 skyscraper at the left and some ad links below the Previous / Next links. Any thoughts?

How much traffic do you get to your website every day? You need a decent # of people to make it worth your while.

I think if it was a working website, then maybe.

Not much traffic yet, it seems that if you want to put together a high quality site you end up spending a lot of time on content and there's very little time left for SEO and marketing. Right now I plan to add mode pages to it and make it a valuable resource, and only then start link exchanges and consistent promotion. At the moment it gets around 80 unqiues a day.

80 uniques a day wont earn you much of anything. You'd be better off SEOing and making good content.

I was only thinking of placing ads when I have about 1000 visitors per day, should be about 3-5 months until I get to that.My question was mainly about the layout of the ads, if you think they'll look good and have some CTR.
Thanks!

Just keep it simple. Don't bombard visitors with ads. Some plain Google Adsense stuff and maybe some TextLinkAds would be enough. Once you get enough people, offer private ad space. You'll make more. With about 200-300 uniques a day you should be able to make enough off adsense to pay for your hosting (bout $15/mo).

Yeah, to be honest there's not enough content to have a chance with Adsense. You might want to think of implementing something that has thumbnails for the wallpaper and opens them in a new window so those with normal size resolutions can see the entire image.
After you've got some solid content, go ahead and put ads up if you wish, the top would be a good spot.
Just my 2 cents.

Cool, thanks for the replies.
$15 a month seems kinda low
I have websites generating $15 a day with about the same number of pages. Hope CarTitans will grow to be like that as well in time.
