Hi all, i have a page on my site wich will feature some 70 high quality JPG thumbnails.
Nedless to say, load time will be horrible for users. So i am looking for a Javascript to preload the images indevidually.
I've seen scripts that load everything before the page shows up, but i need something that displays an indevidual loading indicator for each image before the image is actually displayed,so as to make the pages load time more user freindly.
Im thinking of something like the preloader on templatemonster when you roll over a thumbnail, and it enlarges.....
Does anyone know of a script like that?
Thank you for your time

An alternative would be to use an AJAX Slideshow/Image Menu, using Mootools (suggestion). Use their docs and forums to find the right script for you.

Unfortunitely it wouldn't, the images are not indevidually loaded.
This is my site:

I need to have a "Loading box" for each image indevidually, so while they load, the rest of the page is displayed.
Thanks for the try,

Thanks for the try,
With DOM in Mootools it will load with my knowledge. I'm not THAT amazing though, so I could be wrong, don't quote me on it.

You can either use MooTools or Lightbox

the Lightbox is a little more straight and to the point for what you want.
