It's a good attempt
One thing you should try to keep in mind when taking any photo is to align any horizons etc. as straight as possible. For example, your first picture: See where the top of the hill meets to sky? If you were to align that part up really good horizontally, the picture would look a TON more better, because all the light poles would be straight as well.

I love doing those kind of shots... I just hope the camera never slips out of my hand lol
