I bought a digital camera recently (sony dsc-w55) nothing much but i cant afford to buy something better.

So the problem is i am getting a lot of pictures blured, and whenever i want to shoot something in action i get blurry results, i know that has to do something with exposure time and/or shutter speed.

But my camera doesnt have an option for me to change neither one of those things.

Any tips for shooting action scenes with my low budget compact camera? Is there a way?

Help is appreciated :huh:

Tripod =D
Or if you can't get your hands on one, just balance it on top of something sturdy.

tripod wouldnt help, cuz its not about my shaky hands (ok sometimes it is but not in this cases) the problem is that people or animals get all blurry if they are movin on the photo, everythign rest is clear like it should be

Oooooo so you want them to look still. I would recomend increasing the shutter speed if you can but it all depends if you actually can.

On the mode wheel, spin it so that the dash lines up to the one label ISO.

You know I would still use a tripod. Because even if you dont think that its not about the steady hand sometimes it does make that bit of a difference.

Also are you shooting daytimes or at night.
