remember when we all got deleted?

That membership number is correct, if a member gets deleted the next registration to join will take the next highest number, so really P2L should have over 4,000 members.

A while back the users table was hacked and all members were deleted. BUT the autonumbering of the tables in MYSQL continued where it left off when we all re-registered, so the number is way higher than it should be. Plus, I think that users without any posts are pruned every so often automatically...

i believe it was a simple guy who found out we where using 1.3 of invision board and took advantage of the huge security holes left in it, and took us out

we are upgraded to 1.3.1 final now, which has no security holes such as that left in it

the membership id is a primary key in the table, so therefore if you deleted a member by the id of "5", another user could not not that id 5, infact they'd go onto the next available id number

users 2 to about 1000 something where deleted in the hacking
