Yup, So what do you guys think P2L Should add. Any features you think would be absolutely awesome and would complete the site for you? Just wondering, heres what I think should be added:

- User Photo Galleries
- Possibly other language sub sections.(Just like Gen discussion/question forum for like french/spanish and stuff), Common languages. Then add a section for foreign language tutorials also...

That's all for me atm I had more but forgot lol.

I think they should add to the profiles a personal work section so other people can see what you have done. ie websites/illustrations/graphics. What does everybody else think about this?

yeah kinda like a portfolio style thing would be fun to do... kinda like CGsociety has... it's a pretty cool setup... maybe even have like a big gallery of images people made or sites or something... kinda like what 3D total has....

Definately, Personal blog would be good so you can log activity on a current project. and Obv just a small portfolio section.

Go make a competition anyone can, there doesn't have to be a prize in competitions it's just good for experience

The chatrooms would be fun to attend, and useful to get instant help. The P2L software which would allow people to access and post forums from their desktop, would remind and encourage people to post new stuff. Maybe a Google Desktop widget or Mac Desktop widget or Vista Sidebar widget can be the software.

Remember, what keeps people coming to website is the relationship people have with the other users. A desktop program would remind people to check P2L, but also with a chatroom, make people create a relationship with other users which would keep them coming back.

There are so many things you could add to a website of Pixel2Life's caliber. But do not go down the path of multiple languages! The majority of the community speak English and it would just make the forums look so segregated.

I rather like the idea of a chat room as it allows people to just chill and talk about anything basically. However, this would further extend the decline of activity in the forums. It might also look a bit silly having a forum to talk on and then a chat room. However, it would give the staff at Pixel2Life more to do as they would have to look after the chat rooms and such.

I am personally all for the personal blog idea. It gives every member an opportunity to express their artistic and creativity skills. I'd love to read what everyone's views were on the latest news within this community.

The photo galleries just doesn't fit in with Pixel2Life itself. It would make the community look more designer based than for example, programmer based. The lag it would produce would be unbearable.

Well, that's just my view on all of this. All Pixel2Life really needs to fix is the lack of activity. Once that's been fixed we wont need anything else to entertain us.

I think this has already been said but maybe a add-on to your internet browser like the google bar or stumble add-ons.
Just make it for pixel2life.
Maybe i might try and code a version for pixel2life

I started a desktop application to post tutorials from your desktop a few months ago, but its quite abandonned now.

The chatroom is a good idea imo, but that's up to Dan to have one or not.

A chatroom would be a great idea imo, although I believe that has been brought up before and nothing happened... A chatroom may also cause the forums to die out even more, because many people will go to the chatroom to get "instant" help rather than posting a topic on the forums... But we'll see what Dan thinks of it all..

yeah no point of having an application for P2L on a desktop... just put P2L in favs on browser and you have fast access

chat room wouldn't be bad but would kill the forums too.... maybe have a section in the forums also like right at the bottom where the post counts arnt counted and it's more of a spam threads.....

and I still want that gallery idea... of all like nice pictures and work that have been done... and we can show this way the talent that the people on this site have
