thx for the interesting tutorial, going to try it out!
i have another question though, as you can see on the picture
my texture is not as it has to be.
i putted it on Spherical, but it has to be on Cylindrical, but when i do that
the texture is shown 3 times on my drink. So thats not good, but Spherical isnt good either
because the texture is wrong.
heres an image of it in cinema4D:
can someone help me tot get the texture right?
thx in advance

all the way down your screenshot: untick "tile" and see what happens.
bdw: it would be better to make selections and save those selections, given every selection another material then what i see from the screenshot you created 3 objects instead.
to save selections: select what you want to save, then goto selection --> set selection and give it another name in the attributes. Then just drag the material onto the object and then drag the created selectiontag from the object manager to the right place in the attributes manager of the shader.

Edit: how to -->
1. make object, and make sure its editable, so you can select faces

2. then make your selection (i used the "loop selection"):

3. Choose "set selection"
SetSelection.jpg 30.44KB 85 downloads
4. Rename your selection (not really necessary)
renameSelection.jpg 15.99KB 92 downloads
5. Repeat for other selections (i repeated it once) --> very important note: if you DO want to repeat this procedure, always make sure before you start that the selectiontag in the objects menu is NOT selected. To make sure just click somewhere else in objectmanager and then reselect object.
6. Then choose your material and drag it to your object like you're used to.
7. Then, while the material is still active, drag the selection tag from the objectmanager to the right place in the attributemanager of the shader:

8. repeat for other parts/materials
9. Now you have 1 object with multiple material "zones"
10. final render:

EDIT 2:
i suppose you knew this, but just to make sure:
to add a label/logo/decal... you could do the following:
1. make sure object is editable and has an UVmap
2. apply the materials (base materials, see previous posts)
3. make a new material with the in color the texture/label you need, eventually with an alpha channel (in case of decal)
CreateNewMaterial.jpg 4.81KB 84 downloads
4. drag the material onto the object, making sure not to drop it onto the first material, since that would replace it...
--> this will fill the entire object
5. Untick the tile option and change the projection mode.
6. change the offset and the scale values.
