Yeah, I wasn't sure if it would be a good buy. However I did go ahead and
order it. I mostly just take pictures of cars, and any other random thing I can think of
such as weather, nature, and such things. However I had to split my money because
I also bought a sony camcorder that was around 1200, lol. So I went with a cheaper
digital still image camera.

Haven't used that one, but if it's any help I have a Sony Cybershot 7.2mg's I carry with me all the time when I don't take my bulky canon and the photo quality is great, battery life is awesome.
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...552921665079070 is the one I have except it's pink (was a freebie when I supported breast cancer it came with the bed and a pink ipod) I thought it would be crappy but I'm quite impressed in the photo quality.
Just looking at that one you posted I myself find docking stations a little outdated and haven't used one since I used my Kodak over 4yrs ago.

I have a Cyber-Shot and it works great! So I trust them, the only thing is that it takes a bit of time to take photos

I would of preferred a black one but since it was a freebie I had no choice.

Agree, and have also found that but I only use mine as a inbetween camera so doesn't bother me that much.
