Kinda want overboard on using gradients. The designs are nice but you should maybe tweak the colors a bit. I'd also suggest changing some of the fonts you use as well as some of the font colors in the CSS file to make them more readable. Looks like you are off the a good start.

Hi, Lastcrime!
I will admit, it's different from many sites I've seen over the years on the internet, but I think for the FreeBird Design site, it would be more suitable to have a clear font like Arial or Verdana for your navigational buttons, since there is the possibility that people could have difficulty reading it.
While I'm on the topic of the site, I don't see the reason why you have gradients in mid-air like that. Feel free to state your reasoning as to why they are there, but I don't think it would be a big loss if they went. I'm not meaning to say that your concept is in any way disgusting or useless, don't get me wrong, I just don't see the suitability with the current format of the site. If they went right to the edge of the screen, I can see why they are there for purely aesthetical purposes, and perhaps that is the target you want to achieve, but until I understand why they are there I'd suggest the possibility of removing them.
On the blog, I'd heavily recommend you change the colour of the headings on the sides to a more contrasting colour. White or a light grey would be my suggestions. As it is, the readability of the headings as they go further down the gradient fade into the background almost, which makes them nigh beyond readable in that regard.
Also the noise at the footer might either want to be reduced, or you provide a container for the footer text so that it is more readable also. I know this is a nitty gritty, but usability and accessibility are crucial to me, and I feel these little things I believe to be quirks from my design view and standpoint need to be fixed.
You have done a great job. Hope this is the sort of feedback you wanted, and hopefully I haven't come across as a narcissistic prick to you in saying these things.

Nicecrime, nice work,
the only thing i can see is that the bird on the top is waaay to big and distracting, maybe put it on the side or corner? But for a Wordpress theme, thats reallllyy impressive. Nice!
