Using a mobile phone before going to bed could stop you getting a decent night's sleep, research suggests.

The study, funded by mobile phone companies, suggests radiation from the handset can cause insomnia, headaches and confusion.
It may also cut our amount of deep sleep - interfering with the body's ability to refresh itself.
The study was carried out by Sweden's Karolinska Institute and Wayne State University in the US.

Funded by the Mobile Manufacturers Forum, the scientists studied 35 men and 36 women aged between 18 and 45.
I quote the BBC so what do you think about this?Posted Image

In other news, research into global warming suggests an alternate cause to be the inhalation of water vapor by horny fruit bats.

That's all 71 people? that's not enough to base that info on. I don't use a cell phone but we have one in our house.

Exactly...

It's just one of those things that gets said without much thought...i.e. it's like saying ice cream causes people to drown. It doesn't obviously...it's that more ice cream is bought during summer which is also when the most water activities are done. Positive correlation does not necessarily mean a direct relationship! lol

Perhaps when people talk to others on the phone before going to sleep they get thinking about what was said during the conversation? I dunno, I can't sleep without a relatively clear head anyway

The sound of someone talking through a cell is awful and honestly it bothers me. When the last thing I hear before I go to bed is something that displeases me I can't sleep well. I have to plug in my Shure headphones and listen to some high quality music to fix it haha.

Well Matthew, I do hope you've learned your lesson, and will NEVER try that again! It's very dangerous! That breathing thing will kill you!
