Ritter Sport: http://en.wikipedia....ki/Ritter_Sport

Latest project just submittted, Ritter sport is an existing brand based in Europe, don't see them alot in the UK so the job was to advertise in a double page spread and be photography reliant. The photography was done by me and a friend in my dining room(rofl), using a nice camera of his and a small photography kit he got on ebay. This was a campaign so I chose 5 bars, they have 30+ and this is what I managed to come up with:

Quote

Target Audience: Eco aware, 30 something, male and femaless, aspiring BMW drivers, who go mountain biking at weekends and take holidays iin Thailand and New Zealand.

Tone of Voice: Knowing seld confidennt with a tendancy towards arrogence.

All props etc are arranged by me, getting these photograaphs right was diffficult, i've got 100+ photos on my PC, caused a fooking heaadache. Few examples of the original images:

and if you look you can see how the box thing works:

There were no restrictions on this, some people went a totaly different way with it. I just wanted somethin simple and attention grabbing, making it feel the bar is really important or 'special'. Constructive feedback appreciated (;) (:friends:

Excellent job transforming the original photos.

Definitely eye pleasing and matches the tone and mood.

The alpine one bothers me a bit. The grass seems a bit dead and aging, maybe replace it with green leaves or flowers.

But thats just me.

Great work. It looks professional IMO.

That's probably because I ripped it from outside my house, I did try to fix and improve it but I guess not enough. Would require a full photo manip. What I should have done is bought a square of turf but I had a time limit. Thanks alot buddy for the constructive feedback :( I completely agree.

nice work - the originals looked so drab and washed out, and i agree with slewey; a very nice transformation.

i noticed that the letter "P" in the peppermint one is slightly covered - perhaps this could be remedied...

i've worked with a professional photographer doing product presentation, and i do think he'd have been pleased with these. :(

Thanks Stucida. Recent dissapointment with these, I thought they were some of my strongest work but my tutor strongly disliked them. The general opiniion was that they were executed wwell but the campaign/concept itself was terrible. On ssome level I agree, it is advertising and the idea was weak but I wanted the image itself to sell the product.

Worrying I have a job interview soon and was hoping these wouuld impress, guess not. Does anybody have an idea how i could potentially turn this into a far better campaign.

If not thanks for your comments, really appreciated.
