I love this effect, if someone could please tell me how it's achieved. I tried using a brush and setting a path with custom brush settings, just couldn't get it right. Someone point me in the right way :)

The closest easyest way i got to this was in illustrator

make rounded rectangel
make a new Scatter brush

in the scatter brush settings,

Size 76% Fixed
Spacing 84% Fixed
Scatter 0 Fixed
Rotation 0 Fixed

And this is what it did
it looks cool, but it dont get the corners right, witch is a shame :g[1]:

But that can be fixed, if you use the line tool or brush tool, when holding down the shift key, to make a line, then just move them into place

actually in Illustrator, its just 1 stroke or at most 2 strokes on top of each other in the appearance palette,
but in Photoshop i have no idea!!
shame on me, looks easy enough and still...

fat stroke, rounded cap f.ex. stoke 6 and put 12 t in the " " area, lol, forgot the name (where you can fill in the stripe length and the space between the stripes, in the lower part of the stroke palette.

You could just create a hundred rounded rectangles and line them up with a guide
:P
Spider's way is probably the best.
