Right, so when I got my Laptop, I have 'Two' Hard Drives (I assume it's one split in two):

Basically, i'm assuming that the 'Acer' disk is for the OS and any programs that I have installed, and I assume that the 'Data' one is for files and stuff that I save (Like images, videos, music, etc...).

So I go into the 'Acer' disk, and under 'Users' I find my user account, with all of the files I have saved in there, and yet the 'Data' drive is empty (apart from some text file that's in there).

So do I simply copy this folder into the 'Data' drive? Or will this make my laptop explode or something?

The Acer Drive is your C: drive, and any file you save will be saved in there by default, enless you tell it you want to save your files into the secand HHD , I wouldent move the user accout from the Acer drive,, but i would move my files, into a new folder made on the data drive

When your saving files from the net or what ever, just look for the opiton to save the files to the data drive

So once I copy my files to my Data drive it should be okay to delete the ones that were on the C Drive?

As long as you take everything and not make shortcuts etc. With software I would reinstall on the second HDD (If you're moving software)
