I wish I was a Mod so I wouldn't have to request for things to be moved 15,000 times a day =P... I do believe this should have went in the GD though .

everyone knows the xbox is for kiddies playing halo, and the ps2 are the pc fps players that like to play sports, and other games on the side on their consoles

Lol Xbox has way better graphics than Ps2....i cant really say one is better than the other they are both very good gaming consoles, but ps2 would win in the category with more games .
Personally i would go with the Xbox

xbox, better processer and gfx card. but then again mine's modded so I just screw around and have fun when I play, or watch movies on it. (lol) and since I can't have xbl I don't play halo much, but other games on both systems are better on Xbox in my opinion (madden etc..)

i say there are + and - to each of em. ps2 can only have 2 people while xbox can have 4. ps2 has a better controller. both have there share of good games. and halo was good so get over it. ps2 over all i think is better but not by far

bah... not 1 of these again... it always ends up as flaming......
shure halo is for the small children... but there is also rainbow,ghost recon ect... which i think ps2 has.. but they dont have the online features for them...

xboxlive is a DEFINATE bonus... it is awesome. having used it allot... for 1 and a bit years. i have never been able to go back to just single player.

about the amount of games on ps2.
shure they have more games then anyother.. but what % of them are anygood....

bah i hate these. as i really didnt like the ps2...

just as long as poeple answer these last few questions i shall be happy
A) roughly what % of games are anygood on either system
what are the FULL multyplayer abilities of each... (i dont fully know the ps2's.. but i do know it doesnt really compare)
C) what form of memory storage is available for both.

please answer them like poeple.... i dont want a
"oh ps2's multyplayer is waaay better"... cos there are no reasons...
and ime almost certain it isnt... anywaaay..

xbox only has good graphics cos it has a gfx card and is bascially a pc not a proper gaming console like ps2

you happen to be wrong there.....
they are both true gaming consoles..xbox is closer to a pc.yes. but it is no where near....

and no. it does not have good graphics only because of the graphics. it also uses the hdd as part of the loadup enabling it to create things better and it also has a "nicer" setup for the programmers to use for the games. as it is closer to the standard microsoft stuff

A: hah, 4 out of 5 games for PS2 suck and are from companies that are never heard of from most people.

B: PS2 can use a multi-tap, and then another. But it lags the system anywhere past 4 players, i've had the big 8 player madden games before and xbox is suited MUCH MUCH better for that.

C: The xbox has a built in HD, while the PS2 HDD can be purchased for 100 USD currently? and the xbox can be upgraded to basically any capacity.

But still wtf u gonna do wit a HDD other then if ur doing something illegal like saveing games on it and the only other good thing bout xobx is the multiplayer but i dont have a mem card what if u wanted to go ur frendz and hes got da same game ull have to take the whole console which is stupid!
