Hotmail Outage Goes Global, MS Says

Web surfers were unable to log on to Hotmail, along with other services that require a Microsoft login, such as the Xbox Live video game community site and the Windows Live Messenger instant messaging program.

Microsoft confirmed the problem was international in scope but did not say how many people were affected or when a resolution was expected.

Microsoft spokeswoman Samantha McManus said the company is actively investigating the cause and working to fix it as soon as possible.

Hmmm, I wouldn't be too fussed - I mean servers have downtimes every once in a while, so give 'em a break lol

So here in belgium there were bout 2 mil affected...

GMail is so awesome, I love it how its free to use pop3 with it, unlike Hotmail.

Gmail isnt a quick fix, all my contacts are on hotmail :)
would take to long to swap over.. + i already use my gmail for spam shizzle dizzle
