C4D New material Colour change problem

I just made my Model then i saved it
then i opened up a new material and double click on the sphere
Then i went into Colour
then texture
then went into gradient
but...
it wont let me change the colour i double click on everything

Can anyone help?

double click little pointers: (after clicking on gradient)
