[Misfit]

Hi,

I am new to photoshop and this forum. I am in to the photography side of things and editing pictures to make them look like something else.

I am already familiar with the clone and pen tools. I cut something out and paste it into a different image, but I can never make it look like it's 100% real.

I am a fan of Lasse Gjertsen. Here is one of his edited pictures

As you can see he has taken a picture of Bush and edited himself in there. Obviously you would have to be very handy with photoshop but I'm just wondering if there are any hints that would help me make it look real. I usually have trouble with different lighting. Are there any specific tutorials for this type of thing? Any help would be appreciated.

unfortenately ,
first thing is the "art of selection", of which there are entirely books written (selecting and compositing among others)
I would tart there.
