I need help with making an opacity changer and line size changer on a drawing application.

you need to be more specific as to what you want. that statement was a bit vague.

For example, how do want it to change, are you using a slider? buttons? keyboard input. How does the user activate this change in the drawing application. If you can tell us that then the reast should be simple enough to get sorted.
