i play a lot of games, all of which run fine, orange box, flight sim 04, dawn of wars etc etc

then i bought microsoft flight sim x about 3-4 weeks ago and it didnt work for some reason, my computer wouldnt aknowledge it was there at all, if i opened "my computer" my pc crashed, thought "#@!# it!!" and played my other games

now, since i have the first 3 Warhammer 40k games, i decided to buy Soulstorm which my computer has also decided not to aknowledge! wtf is going on? its doing my head in, my drive is compatable so i see no reason why they shouldnt run

id welcome any help here!

Hmm..you might wanna try running a virus scan, spyware scan, all of it.

And if you already have, try it with another scanner, as some scanners can pick up things that others can't..

virus scanned, got nothing, found a website that had software that find out the manufacturer of your drive and finds any updates for it, downloaded the firmware and my drive works and i installed Soulstorm.

NOW! my copy of Microsoft Flight Sim X Delux never worked (i thought it was my drive, since i fixed it i gave it another try) so my drive wont read the 1st disc yet it reads disc 2, went to microsoft support to find out it costs £46 effing quid for support! any idea?!
