the background needs to be smoothed out a bit. maybe a different font as well? I'm not really sure. I think it's mostly personal taste preventing me from being able to properly gauge it, so no need to heed my opinion.

Which program did you make this in MS Paint or? To me it is very un-organized. I would work on the blending and the lighting then worry about the BG, always blend you bg around your render or vice-versa, excuse my spelling.
