thanks for coments.. i will be posting the final very soon.. and the two rooms have a purpose. one of them will be a storage space whilst the other might serve in electrical control.. or something else..

i'd knock it into 1 and turn it into a walk in bar. this means you can keep things like elctricity meters in there and fuse boxes without having just a room for it.

thats a good idea. but our design specs are way too limited. the house should just be for basic family and no extras plus. this family is suppose to be quite poor. hence the boxiness style design... great ideas though walnut. thanks

I dont suppose you watch grand designs do you? last night there was an episode where the guy has thought of everything to save money on electricity and gas bills...he put pipes in the roof with insulation so they can warm up with water in them during summer or any day its remotely hot to warm up water. He also used a air pipe that went from the driveway to the house 4ft down because 4ft into the ground all year round its approx 17 degrees.

coooll.. is that the house that was half hidden in a mountain?? or am i completely off track.. thats a realy good idea though... the crazy ting about the houses we are making is that they are based in la perla puerto rico. such technologies are forbiden.. tut tut. but you seem well into the design side.. studying architecture by anychanve WALNUT????

no...even though i have the brains and artistic ability to design buildings. i have lack of will power to do well in my exams...no revision nothing so im doing product design instead  much shorter course although its taking 5 years of my time.

I think designing things that take less time to build more satisfactory for my needs :)

o and no it was...this was the one where they build a house in a backgarden to a bungalo that was built by the owners :D

yer im currently doing my A levels still...the thing before college. but then im taking a year out to do art foundation which is something i want to do but is helpful for product design. Then its 4 year course in bournesmouth.

As for designs...im much more of a hands on kinda guy. i like to design with materials rather than sit at a desk and draw. Although i quite enjoy painting
