and I keep uploading it, everything is correct, but when I try and add a tutorial it says "Sorry, it failed."

When I tried the installer It says on page 3 of the tutorial, I need to CHMOD it 777, but when I do CHMOD it comes up with an error when I try to run the file, but if I don't CHMOD it, and I run the installer.php it says Installer Complete and deletes the installer, someone please help this things drivin me crazy.
I decided to just use the PHPmyadmin way. Instead of the installer.
